Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification No. 1600-2019-0679-R1, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Darrel Davis. The project is limited to diversion of surface water from Conner Creek for domestic and non-cannabis irrigation purposes. This Agreement allows for diversion from an existing gravity-fed diversion under a deeded access on APN 012-270-52-00. The claim is under Initial Statement of Water Diversion and Use #S027191. The water diversion structure consists of a 4-inch PVC pipe placed in the channel through a seasonal small rock stacked dam. The pipeline decreases from 4-inch to 2-inches within 50-feet of the point of diversion. Water is carried through the 2-inch pipe via a network of buried pipeline along Senger Road to the place of use approximately 0.6 miles away. Water is generally diverted from April through October. Valves within the pipeline control the rate of flow and delivery to the place of use but should not exceed a diversion rate of 10 gallons per minute. A screen is fashioned over the inlet of the pipe to prevent debris from entering the pipe. It is the Permittee’s responsibility to ensure that the screen meets fish screening criteria. The rock stacked dam shall not block the channel in manner that impedes fish passage at any point. This Agreement does not authorize any other in-channel manipulation. Water is not to be diverted for the purposes of cannabis irrigation. Currently, there is a groundwater well drilled on the property to supply cannabis irrigation water.
