Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (1600-2017-0306-R1), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Milena Maskovic. The project is limited to four encroachments, two encroachments are for water diversion, one from an unnamed tributary to the Mad River, and the second from the Mad River main stem. Water is diverted for irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include modification, use, and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The two other proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replace with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
