Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 5,000 square feet (SF) of outdoor mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 005-370-004-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-076) and currently holds a Medicinal Specialty Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0001761, Expires on 2025-01-29). Existing infrastructure includes a 10’x10’ cannabis waste composting area; two (2) outdoor mature canopy areas (2,096 sf and 5,100 sf) with plants planted directly into the ground; a rainwater catchment system with catchment surfaces on the roofs of the dwelling, barn, and woodshed (approx. 375sqft total) that drain into three (3) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks; an 8’x24’ woodshed for agricultural chemical/pesticide storage. Proposed activities for the project include reconfiguration of the 5,100 sf and 2,096 sf mature canopy areas into one (1) 3,240 sf area as well as installation of an additional 1,680 sf mature canopy area all on previously disturbed area (all mature areas will be used for immature canopy which will transition to mature canopy) for a total of 4,920sqft mature canopy. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. Applicant has provided supplemental Odor, Light, and Noise Attenuation Plan to fall in compliance with: Resolution NO. 2023-071, “A resolution of the Board of Supervisors of The County of Trinity allowing streamlined approval of cannabis licenses that require CCV’s or the calendar year 2023” (extended through April 2024). 2. Mitigation Measures 3.3-1a and 3.16-2a are also APPLICABLE to this project.
