Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-TRI-09312-R1, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Melissa Wight.
The project is limited to the diversion of surface water from a spring-fed source of an unnamed tributary of Summit Creek for commercial cannabis cultivation. The Agreement allows for diversion from the existing spring box located within the stream channel. Water is gravity fed through a 1-inch plastic pipe into a 2500- gallon storage tank where it is then pumped up to more water storage facilities near the cultivation site. The Agreement allows for the maintenance and annual installation/removal of existing infrastructure but does not authorize expanding the capacity by digging into the channel, or other in-channel manipulation.
