Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sqft) of mature mixed-light cannabis located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 017-100-002. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-496) and currently holds a provisional Small Mixed- Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0000271). See below for additional project information. Existing activities include the cultivation of approximately 10,000 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis grown in five (6) greenhouses of various dimensions, four (4) 20’x100’ (4,000 sqft), one (1) 20’x86’ (1,720 sqft), and one (1) 6’x44’ (264 sqft). Immature cultivation would occur within three (3) existing 20’x100’ (2,000 sqft) greenhouses. Existing cannabis support infrastructure includes a 15’x15’ (225 sqft) compost pile; three (3) 8’x20’ (160 sqft) metal containers used for processing, pesticide/agricultural chemical storage, administrative hold, and harvest storage; six (6) 5,000-gallon water storage tanks; three (3) 3,000-gallon nutrient mixing tanks; and a permitted well and septic system. Power for the project site is currently provided by two on-site generators, with a future plan to eventually transition to solar. Water for the project would be provided through the existing, permitted on-site well, and plants would be irrigated via a timed drip system. SPECIAL NOTES: The County should note that Chapter 2, Project Description, incorrectly lists the APN as 018-470-04. The correct APN is the one provided in the cover sheet, 2.2 Project Location, etc. (017-100-002).
