Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light cannabis located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 018-050-61-00. The designated area totals 11,520 SF. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-745) and a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL21-0005392, expires 2023-05-09). Cultivation activities include 5,650 SF of mixed-light canopy and 2,880 SF of immature plant area. Existing infrastructure includes one (1) 500-gallon and two (2) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks for domestic use; two (2) 3,000-gallon water storage tanks and one (1) 1,000-gallon fertilizer mixing tank for agricultural use; two (2) 30’x96’ greenhouses for mature canopy; an 8’x20’ agricultural chemical and pesticide storage shed; a 24’x70’ building consisting of a 16’x65’ processing area that will become harvest storage then packaging, and a 5’x8’ agricultural chemical/pesticide storage area; a 5’x5’ cannabis waste compost area; a 5’x5’ shed for administrative hold. Proposed infrastructure includes the installation of two additional 30’x96’ greenhouses (one for mature canopy and one for immature canopy) within an already cleared and developed area near the existing greenhouses. The proposed project includes the use of a groundwater well for water source. The cultivation is irrigated via hand watering for efficiency and conservation purposes to reduce water loss. The direct footprint of the infrastructure and designated area results in approximately 13,410 SF. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C
