Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 014-420-01. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-377) and a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0000284, Expires on 2024-05-22 is currently licensed as Small Outdoor - Medicinal). Cultivation activities include 9,992-sf of mature mixed-light cannabis canopy grown in four (4) greenhouses and one (1) additional 10’x80’ greenhouse. There are multiple existing buildings on-site that serve as cannabis support areas. Water is supplied by a groundwater well, water storage tanks, and a rainwater catchment, and power is supplied by TPUD and a backup gas-powered generator. The project proposes to construct a metal shop for processing, harvest storage, and the administrative hold and proposes to bury power lines and acquire solar panels. The project includes 4,512-sf of support area. A more detailed Project Description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: The County should note that the Appendix C Environmental Checklist Submittal Coversheet lists the APN incorrectly as 014-420-10-00; The APN should read 014-420-01-00. The Appendix C Checklist notes the cannabis support area totals 472-sf; However, based on support infrastructure listed in the Appendix C Checklist, the total support area is 4,512-sf. MINOR MODIFICATION: On February 27, 2024 the applicant submitted a minor modification request with updated Appendix C to change the current state license type to small outdoor and replace the 10’x80’ hoop house with a 10’x80’ greenhouse.
