Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 016-230-004-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-696) and currently holds an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0000407, Expires on 2024-12-15). Cultivation activities include approx. 9,600sqft of mature canopy in four (4) proposed 30’x96’ greenhouses with approx. 2,400sqft canopy each. Existing support infrastructure includes a permitted groundwater well, a 30’x80’ greenhouse used for immature canopy and processing, 25’x40’ garage for processing, a 10’x12’ shed for chemical storage, 10’x12’ for petroleum storage and a 10’x12’ compost waste area. Proposed activities include installation of sixteen (16) 6’x100’ hoop rows, a 6’x65’ hoop row and additional 20’x80’ greenhouse all for immature canopy, as well as up to twenty (20) 5,000-gallon water storage tanks on previously disturbed area. Power for the project is provided by TPUD and there is a permitted private septic system on-site. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. Applicant has provided supplemental Odor, Light, and Noise Attenuation Plan to fall in compliance with: Resolution NO. 2023-071, “A resolution of the Board of Supervisors of The County of Trinity allowing streamlined approval of cannabis licenses that require CCV’s for the calendar year 2023”; recently extended through April 2024. 2. The project is applying for mixed-light type however the attenuation plans are only applicable to light-deprivation, outdoor only. Additionally, resubmission of updated attenuation plans, etc. will be required if/when the applicant intends to transition to using supplemental lights for flowering.
