Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of outdoor mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 015-420-044-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-731) and currently holds an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL21-0005371, Expires on 2024-06-30). Cultivation activities include approx. 9,800sqft mature canopy in five (5) 25’x100’ hoop houses with 20’x98’ canopy each. Existing support infrastructure includes four (4) 5’x40’, two (2) 5’x100’, and two (2) 25’x100’ hoop houses for immature canopy; a permitted groundwater well, a 750-gallon, and two (2) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks; a 12’x24’ garage for processing, harvest storage, and agricultural chemical storage (12’x8’ area each); and a 10’x12’ cannabis waste storage area for composting. Power is provided by TPUD and there is a permitted septic system on-site to serve the projects wastewater needs. Proposed elements would not include any ground-breaking activities and include installation of three (3) 6’x20’ hoop houses for immature canopy in previously disturbed area. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. The project has applied for Small Outdoor with most recent CCL renewal application, however the Appendix C includes the use of supplemental lighting in mixed-light operations. To be approved for the use of mixed-light, CCL-731 must submit an updated CCL application to update type change and furthermore updated DCC license within 90 days when project plans to transition to mixed-light operations. Additionally, although the use of supplemental light is being approved, lighting cannot be used in hoop houses – and the project has not proposed transition to greenhouses for use in mixed-light operations.
