Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (project) would continue the ongoing cultivation of 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 020-190-53-00. The proposed cultivation area consists of 10,000 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis grown in five (5) greenhouses, with five (5) additional greenhouses for immature cannabis canopy. The project applicant holds an Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 commercial cannabis cultivation license from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) (CCL19-0002582) and is applying for an upgrade to Tier 2 cultivation status with the State to grow up to 10,000 sf of cannabis canopy. The mature cultivation would consist of three (3) 2,600-sf greenhouse and two (2) 2,800-sf greenhouses, while the immature cultivation would take place within five (5) existing 1,600-sf greenhouses located in the northeastern portion of the project site. Other existing support facilities include a new permitted agricultural well, a solar-powered water storage system, a 5,000-gallon water storage tank, one 1,000- gallon mixing tank, one 275-gallon mixing tank, and a 144 sf agricultural chemical storage shed. Proposed new facilities and support infrastructure would include the construction of a 2,940-sf two story building to house immature cannabis canopy, processing activities, harvest storage, and administrative hold. Proposed infrastructure would also include the installation of a 1,200-sf processing and equipment storage room, a 320-sf shopping container to be used for secure storage of construction materials, and five additional 5,000-gallon water storage tanks. There is an existing groundwater well, pump, and septic system on the property, and power on-site for cultivation and associated activities is provided by an existing on-site solar system.
