Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis and 6,116 sf of support area located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 009-530-22-00. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-268) and a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0000859). Existing activities include the cultivation of up to 10,000 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis grown in four (4) 3,000-sf greenhouses. There are three existing immature plant areas of varying sizes that total 3,816 sf. Existing cannabis support infrastructure includes a 2,000-sf shop for immature plant areas, administrative hold, harvest storage, processing, and pesticide & agricultural chemical storage areas, a 300-sf compost area, one (1) 2,800-gallon water tank, two (2) 2,500-gallon water tanks, four (4) 1,000-gallon water tanks, two (2) 550-gallon water tanks, and two (2) 250-gallon water tanks. Water for the project is provided from an on-site well, and an on-site permitted septic system serves the project’s wastewater needs. Power for the project site is provided through an existing connection to Trinity Public Utility District’s grid. The applicant plans to acquire 600 more amps of power from TPUD, and the power lines will be buried to mitigate fire risk. The trench would be 75 feet and disturb 225 sf of soil.
