Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of 10,068 SF of outdoor cannabis located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 025-050-34-00. The cultivation area totals 10,068 SF. The Applicant currently holds a license for a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0000866, expires 7/30/2023). The Applicant will be transitioning to a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-214) and will be applying for the same Small Outdoor license type from Trinity County Community Development Services, Cannabis Division. Cultivation activities include 10,068 SF of outdoor and 2,052 SF of associated support infrastructure. The proposed project includes use of a groundwater well for water source. The cultivation is irrigated via a drip system to reduce evapotranspiration and water loss. The direct footprint of the infrastructure and support area results in approximately 12,120 SF (see Table 1). A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: The current mature cannabis canopy square footage is 68 SF over the allotted 10,000 SF for the Small Outdoor commercial cannabis license (See Table 1). Figure 4: Project Diagram within the Appx C Project Description states the Mature canopy area is 9,462 SF. The Project shall amend the total SF of mature cannabis canopy area on the project parcel to the allotted amount of 10,000 SF for the Small Outdoor commercial license. Figure 4 Project Diagram and Project Description shall be amended to reflect the 10,000 SF of outdoor cannabis cultivation. The Applicant (Victor Bertranou / Tiger Garden, LLC) holds a Small Mixed-Light Tier 2 commercial cannabis license from the DCC (CCL19-0000866, expires 7/30/2023). The Applicant will be transitioning to a Small Outdoor cannabis cultivation license (22TMP-024393) and will be applying for the same Small Outdoor license type from Trinity County Community Development Services, Cannabis Division and the DCC to cultivate up to 10,000 SF. The Applicant is reapplying for commercial only self-distribution license. The Applicant’s currents self-distribution license (C13-0000226-LIC) through the DCC is currently expired. Immature plants are purchased off-site. Packaging occurs offsite.
