Document Description
: The proposed Cultivation Project (420 Chaps Mountain Rd., Weaverville) is located in the unclassified portion of Trinity County. The project site is zoned as Unclassified. The General Plan designation is Resource (RE.) The project would develop 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature cannabis cultivation, 10,000 square feet (sf) of immature cultivation and construction of associated support buildings totaling 33,000 square feet. All cultivation activities occur inside contained hoop houses, on raised beds, and on top of a French drainage system that directs any waste waters into containers emptied into an onsite fully contained septic system. Water for the project would be provided from an onsite well. Power for current activities is provided by Trinity P.U.D. Upgrades will include installing greenhouses where the existing hoop houses are and installing sustainable energy-producing equipment such as solar or wind-powered generators and battery back-up. Additional water storage tanks (5000 gallons or less) may be added if future regulations require additional water storage however, none are planned at this time. Plans also include more, permittable storage sheds and an additional, permitted dwelling plus it’s own dedicated OWT system. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist.
