Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of 9,240 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis and 2,304 sf of support area located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 018-740-01-00. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-619) and has a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0000100). Existing activities include the cultivation of 9,240 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis grown in three (3) existing greenhouses. Currently, there is currently 4,770 sf dedicated to immature plants in a 4,770-sf designated area outside. Existing cannabis support area include two (2) existing sheds for storage, one (1) existing shed for administrative hold, and one (1) designated compost area. The project proposes to construct a 2,160-sf building that will be used to hold immature plants, as well as for harvest storage, pesticide and agricultural chemical storage, administrative hold, processing, and the immature plant area. After construction, total cannabis support area would total 7,314 sf. Power is provided by two (2) generators, and water is supplied by a water diversion from Mad River. The project is proposing to add solar panels to power the greenhouses in the future and is proposing to trench and bury the power lines disturbing 1,743 sf of soil. The project is also proposing to replace one unpermitted 36-inch culvert with a 72-inch culvert and provide maintenance of the water diversion.
