Document Description
The purpose of the project is to provide an earthquake-resistant bridge and eliminate the scour issues to preserve the integrity of the transportation facility. The project is needed b/c the SF Eel River Bridge was identified in the Structure Replacement and Improvement Needs (STRAIN) Report as a bridge with seismic vulnerability. In addition, the latest Bridge Inspection Report dated March 30, 2016, states the bridge is scour critical.
