Caltrans proposes a safety improvement project to widen shoulders along SR 29 in Lake County between PM 12.7 - 14.5. The proposed project would widen existing shoulders to 8 ft; replace, repair, relocate and/or extend drainage facilities; upgrade and extend existing guardrail; install new guardrail; install rail element walls; apply a hot mix asphalt overlay; install centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and install high visibility striping.
