Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0232-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, San Bernardino County Flood Control District, represented by Harold Zamora. The project is limited to the routine maintenance within Wineville Basin. The routine maintenance projects covered under this Agreement include: excavation/ land clearing, vegetation management, and repair of existing structures. Maintenance activities described above are anticipated to impact a total of 60 acres, which includes 0.39 acres of sandbar willow thickets, 0.26 acres of California buckwheat scrub, and 2.28 acres of freshwater cattail marsh. The project also includes the implementation of a Invasive Plant Management Plan which involves the removal and control of yellow star-thistle (Centaurea solstitialis) and tamarisk (Tamarix sp.) within Wineville Basin.
