Document Description
The project proposes to drill and construct a new production well (Well No. 3) for the school, on the school property. In addition to the construction of Well No. 3, a 100,000-gallon bolted steel water storage tank will be constructed. The storage tank will measure approx 16 ft in height and approx 32 ft in diameter and will be located at the well site. Based on the school's average daily demand, the tank will be able to store approx 1.3 days of potable water. In order to reduce stagnation and turn over water more frequently, the water from the storage tank will be utilized for both irrigation and potable demands. Well No. 1 will be demolished under permit per Tulare county requirements. Once Well No. 3 is operational, existing Well No. 2 will be kept online for backup and emergency purposes.
