Document Description
Caltrans plans to stabilize embankment slopes of five culvert systems on SR 190. Work will also include repairs to the inlets and/or outlets of the culverts. Currently the dirt slopes of the roadway experience significant scour and erosion during flooding events; increasing maintenance costs and the potential for highway pavement damage. The purpose of this project is to prevent continued erosion of highway shoulder slopes into un-named drainage channels that terminate in Owens Dry Lake. This project will replace some of the dirt slopes with concrete.
