Document Description
To improve access to the boat launch site, DFD will install a staircase adjacent to the boat launch. DFD staff will install a prefabricated metal walkway and stairway above the highwater line along the embankment of Clifton Court Forebay. Rip rap on site will be moved by hand for installing anchoring T-posts. T-posts will be installed utilizing an auger to dig post holes and filling the holes with concrete. After the T-posts are installed, the rip rap will be placed in the original location. DFD staff will use a backhoe to bring in supplies and a boom truck to place the walkway and stairway. DFD staff will remove vegetation with hand tools as needed. DFD staff will use a dump truck to place aggregate base on the stairway access roadway. DFD staff will utilize a grader to spread the aggregate base. A compactor will be used to compact the roadway. All staging of equipment will be on the paved roadway and boat ramp. The entire project is within the DWR ROW.
