Document Description
Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment will use community air grant funds to provide an environmental youth justice and education program, called Just Breathing, as part of the New Voices Are Rising Program. Location Specific: Just Breathing workshops will be conducted at 10 Oakland public high schools: two of which are in West Oakland, three in East Oakland, and six serve students from all over Oakland. In addition, a Just Breathing afterschool program will be conducted at Coliseum College Prep Academy in the Havenscourt neighborhood in East Oakland.

*15314 In Accordance with CEQA, the use of the Common Sense exemption is based on the "general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment." (CEQA Guidelines, S15061 (b)(3)). The use of this exemption is appropriate it "it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment."
