Document Description
A five-foot section of the Applicants petroleum pipeline is exposed due to erosion and channel incision caused by a concrete V-ditch and culvert outlet that discharges upstream of the pipeline. The Applicant proposes to recontour the channel and banks around exposed petroleum pipeline, rebury the exposed section of pipe, install concrete open cell matting over channel bottom, place rip-rap from the concrete V-ditch outlet to the upstream end of the mats, and place a rip-rap grade control structure at the downstream end of the mats. Stockpiled soils from the excavation will be used to fill the voids in between the spaces of the revetment mats and rip-rap. The bank slopes will be covered with erosion control blankets to prevent erosion and the streambed banks will be hydro seeded and revegetated with native plants.
