Document Description
The project involves installation of approximately 731 linear feet of infill sidewalks and curb and gutter improvements along portions of 44th Avenue. The project will improve pedestrian safety by reconstructing deteriorated portions of existing sidewalk in locations where people must currently walk along the street. The work also includes installation of 7 American disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps; reconstruction of 2 drainage inlets and 6 driveway conforms. In addition, the project will include repaving the existing roadway at the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 44th Avenue intersection with conventional or rubberized asphalt concrete overlay or slurry seal over existing pavement, and re-striping of the bike lane and lane lines in this location.
