This re-surfacing project is exempt by CEQA section 15301 © which allows for repair, maintenance, and/or minor alteration of existing highways and streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and similar facilities (this includes road grading for the purpose of public safety). This project is further exempt by Public Resources Code -PRC 21080 (b)(1) as a Ministerial project proposed to be carried out by a Public Agency.
