Remove all Douglas fir trees greater than 32" DBH within a 97 acre project area in Big Basin Redwoods State Park to remove competitive pressure from the encroaching firs and improve fire resiliency within the live oak woodlands. Work will uses handsaws, loppers, and chainsaws to fell the Douglas firs, remove limbs and chip, pile, or mulch for various DPR uses.
