Document Description
The proposed project will include the removal of barriers to accessibility for a 6-story building (Employment Development Department Solar Building 13). These removals include the exterior route from the sidewalk to the primary entrance, the interior common route up to the highest tenant-occupied floor, including the primary entrance, common circulation and elevators; building and floor common restrooms; building and floor common drinking fountains, restroom signs and egress signs. The Solar Building 13 Access Barrier Removal Project is drinking fountains, restroom signs and egress signs. The Solar Building 13 Access Barrier Removal Project is a part of the Department of General Services' Access Barrier Removal Program (DGS ABRP), which is a part of the transition plan to improve access to persons with disabilities in DGS owned office buildings.
