Document Description
Sediment Collection: The KRRC is proposing use of a power grab sampler to collect 19 sediment grab samples from Iron Gate and Copco reservoirs (10 from Iron Gate Reservoir and nine from Copco Reservoir). KRRC will remove approximately 90 cubic yards of sediment from each reservoir (collectively 180 cubic yards). To minimize sediment disturbance and turbidity increases, the jaws of the power grab sampler will be closed prior to lifting sediment. The collected sediment will be used to create test plots and evaluate reservoir sediment suitability for growing plants. NOTE: See NOE for full details.
