Note: EA/FONSI & Review Per Lead The USAF and Travis AFB propose to construct a passive barrier cable system on approx half of the existing perimeter fence. The Travis AFB perimeter is surrounded by approx 16 miles (83,000 ft) of chain link fence. The proposed action would upgrade four sections composing nearly half of the perimeter fence (41,700 linear feet). The action would be implemented within 5 years. The proposed action area would be limited to undeveloped land located immediately adjacent to the existing chain-link perimeter fence on the interior side of the installation.
