Document Description
The project site is an existing residential development south of South Lake Tahoe and is approx bounded by Skyline Dr to the north, Elks Club Dr to the east, Pioneer Trail to the south, and Southern Pines Dr to the west. The overall goal of the project is to design and implement erosion control and water quality improvement measures that will increase infiltration of storm water runoff and reduce the discharge of sediment and pollutants to Lake Tahoe from County administered ROW. The project will not change the use of the site or surrounding area and will benefit the natural environment with its implementation. After project completion, less sediment will enter Lake Tahoe from the project area. Thereby improving water quality in Lake Tahoe.
