Document Description
Port of Stockton (CEQA Lead agency) and USACE (NEPA lead agency) are proposing to construct a new, expanded dredged material placement site (DMPS) on Tule Island and operate this site as part of the ongoing USACE Operations and Maintenance dredging program (O&M program). The proposed project involves construction activities to prepare the new Tule Island DMPS for use (i.e., constructing maximum 8-ft tall containment berms), placing dredge slurry in the site as part of the USACE O&M program, and maintaining the site between future dredging episodes as needed.
