Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed
Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0018-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the
project Applicant, Golden State Water Company.
The project is limited to activities that impact the five ephemeral streams associated with the construction of new
water facilities within creosote scrub habitat. Activities include filling and diverting portions of four ephemeral
streams, placement of rip rap aprons to prevent erosion at discharge points, and grading and stabilizing the banks
of a fifth stream to create an access road (see Exhibit D). Streambeds will be filled with local earthen material and
rip rap (375 lb. minus). A total of 2,800 square feet of rip rap will be installed in four locations.
