Document Description
The Merced Mall would be expanded in two development phases. Prior to construction, the project sponsor would select one of two alternatives to construct under Phase II. Phase I: Expand existing buildings by 50,000 sf of gross leasable area, and reconfigure, repave, restripe and relandscape the southern parking lot. Phase II, Alternative 1: Construct a 72,000 sf movie theater, and demolish the existing 22,680-sf movie theater and replace with a retail building of similar size. Phase II, Alternative 2: Demolish the existing movie theater and adjacent retail buildings and replace with a 72,000 sf movie theater.
