The project proposes a GPA/ZC on 6.66 acres located at the southwest corner of the Hosking Ave/South H St intersection. The request includes: 1) an amendment of the Land Use Element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield GP LUD from LR to GC, or a more restrictive designation, and (2) a change in zone classification from R-1 to combined zone C-2/PCD. The project proposes the development of a commercial center consisting of approx 36,00 sf of retail and dining uses. The project also includes a gas station.
