The project is located at Los Alamitos High School. The Los Alamitos Unified School District proposes to replace an existing 25-meter pool facility and associated infrastructure and utilities with a 50-meter pool. The project includes demolition of the existing pool shell, equipment, decking, lighting features, scoreboard, three pool serving buildings, four temporary classroom buildings, and a portion of the existing asphalt and grass areas. Existing storage containers located on the northern portion of the pool site would also be relocated. The project would construct a 50-meter athletic pool, bleachers with a shade structure, a 1,440 sf pool equipment room, four outdoor showers, and a new 965- sf classroom is also proposed adjacent to the athletic pool.
