Document Description
Shasta College proposes to convert and remodel the existing 3,178-square foot Musuem & Research Center Office building, ancillary structures and a parking lot to Campus Security Offices located on an approximate 1.1-acre site. In addition, the existing approximate 814 square foot Archaeology Building 6600 will remain.
An approx. 1.5-acre Area of Potential Effects was prepared for an Archaeological Letter Report that identifies the existing building, structures, and site features. The APE, also referenced as the study area, consist of a relatively flat errace with the vineyard to the east and a steep drop-off to the west where a drainage runs in a north to south direction.
