Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0350-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Gateway Village of American Canyon Owners' Association. The project includes conducting routine maintenance activities in an approximately 950 linear-foot reach of Walsh Creek. Routine maintenance activities include 1) removing all emergent vegetation within approximately 3 feet of the centerline of Walsh Creek, 2) trimming select vegetation within approximately 10 feet of the centerline of the creek, 3) removing vegetation and debris to create and maintain approximately 6-foot wide paths every approximately 100 linear feet throughout the project reach adjacent to the stream to al pedestrian and vehicle access to the stream channel in case of a blockage in the creek.
