Document Description
The San Joaquin Valley Environmental Justice Collaborative (made up of the Central California Asthma Collaborative, Central Valley Air Quality Coalition, and the Central California Environmental Justice Network) will use Community Air Grant funds to develop and disseminate bilingual educational materials about AB 617, organize community meetings, support community participation in the public AB 617 process through the establishment of a steering committee (San Joaquin Valley Steering Committee). They will use grant funds to help draft community needs assessments and local emission reductions plans for CARB selected communities in the region, and select two or more additional communities for their own monitoring.
