Document Description
The proposed project is located on the campus that contains the California School for the Deaf and California School for the Blind, Fremont as well as the California Diagnostic center-North will include interior and exterior lighting upgrades, BAS upgrade, kitchen equipment replacement, and residential appliance upgrades. The proposed project will retrofit existing inefficient interior lights with more energy-efficient LED lighting in a mixture of bulb replacements and fixture retrofits using LED retrofit kits. Exterior lighting upgrades will include upgrade of exterior building-attached and site-wide lights with more energy-efficient LED lighting with appreciate BUG rating. The exterior lighting upgrade will include a mix of LED lamp replacement, LED fixture retrofits and LED fixture replacements. The proposed project will also upgrade the Elementary school, PPS, and the Chiller Plant from the existing BAS and replace with new open protocol BACnet Delta (or equal) controllers and the more recent Triduum Niagara 4 system. The Proposed project will also include replacement of existing dish washer with a new Energy Start Certified Commercial Dishwasher that also includes stainless-steel tables, doors, hood, and accessories. The proposed project will also replace all refrigerators in student housing that were manufactured between 1993-2010 with new Energy Star high efficiency rated refrigerators. This proposed project will assist in meeting the State's energy efficiency goals.
