Document Description
The scope of work consists of identifying the soil conditions under and around eight boring sites within the park. The project will identify existing site conditions; core drill using a 4-inch auger on a truck mounted drill rig to a depth between 5-15 feet; record the soil conditions; backfill all excavation with soil cuttings. Work at each of the sites includes: Geotechnical Investigation at all eight (8) locations: -Observe existing site conditions. -Core-drill using a 4-inch auger on a truck mounted drill rig to a depth of between 5-15 feet. -Record the soil condition for future analysis. -Backfill holes with soil cuttings. Excess soil cuttings will be spread in adjacent undeveloped areas away from the waterways. Work will not adversely affect natural or cultural resources.
