Document Description
DTSC approved a Removal Action Workplan for the Oakland 5 Site that includes exacavation of 2,100 cubic yards of metal-impacted soil from select locations on the Site and disposal of this material at an off-site permitted facility. Soil confirmation sampling will occur after excavation of the metal-impacted soil to verify the residential cleanup levels have been acieved. The excavated areas will be backfilled with approximately the same amount of imported clean materials. The proposed project would generate approximately 300 truck trips - 150 truck trips to transport material off-site and 150 to import clean fill materials. DTSC is taking this action pursuant to regulatory authority under Chapter 6.8, Division 20, sections 25323.1 and 25356.1 of the Health & safety Code. Stantec Consulting Services Inc, submitted the RAw on Augst 3, 2018 on behalf of City of Ventures.
