Reasons for Exemption
*Note: Exempt Status-Criteria for subsequent EIR The City has reviewed the Project and analyzed is based upon the provisions of the State CEQA Guidelines. The proposed Project is requesting Master Plan Home Design Review to construct one single family home on the remaining undeveloped parcel within the Vista Creek Village Unit #1 Subdivision. Originally a Project under the County of Sacramento, the Board of Supervisors certified an Environmental Impact report (EIR) and adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting program (MMRP) for the Vista Creek village project (94-CZB-SDB-0337) (SCH No. 1994092020). Potential environmental impacts of the Vista Creek Village subdivision project were analyzed as part of the EIR. Surrounding properties have been developed through previous Master Home Plan Design Review (EG-03-489 and EG-04-628) in accordance with the Elk Grove Municipal Code. This project involves a design review to construct one single family home within the approved subdivision. There are no potential environmental impacts related to the Project site that have not already been addressed or analyzed under previously-adopted EIR. In addition, there are no new or unusual circumstances that would warrant further environmental review. Therefore, this Design review will not, with foreseeable certainty, have any significant adverse impact on the environmental and requires no further environmental review pursuant CEQA Guidelines Section 15162 (Subsequent EIRs and Negative Declarations).
