Document Description
The City proposes to construct approximately 1.8 miles of bicycle and pedestrian trail along the south bank of the American River that extends from the 28th/A Street intersection to the west, ending on the levee approximately 0.10 mile west of SR-160. The Two Rivers Trail Phase III Project would generally consist of a 12-foot-wide paved path with a 2-foot-wide compacted decomposed granite (DG) shoulders on each side. To accommodate project constraints and phasing, there will also be segments where the trail width will be slightly reduced and where the trail is composed of DG (unpaved). On-street bicycle lanes are also proposed in some locations as part of the Project.
