The project involves installing our replacing approx 10,203 lf of 8-inch diameter water main as well as new gate valves, pressure reducing valves, and four fire hydrants in the downtown Groveland water distribution system; approx 10,306 lf of 8-inch diameter water main as well as new gate valves, pressure reducing valves, and nine fire hydrants in the Big Oak Flat water distribution system; approx 7,212 lf of 8-in water main and two fire hydrants in the connection between the communities of Groveland and Big Oak Flat; and approx 1,956 lf of 8-in water main and one fire hydrant in the water distribution system that feeds White Gulch. Existing water service will not be significantly impacted during construction.
