Document Description
The San Mateo County Transit District requires the installation of ROW security fencing to prevent trespassing and dumping along the Dumbarton Rail Corridor. A total of 8,019 linear feet of security fencing will be installed in the Peninsula portion of the DRC in San Mateo County. A total of 3,536 ft linear of security fencing will be installed in the East Bay portion of the DRC in Alameda County. Security fencing installed for the proposed project would be 8-ft high and supported by posts spaced at 10-ft intervals. Fence posts will be installed in a concrete foundation 3 to 3.5 ft below the ground surface. Construction of the proposed project is estimated to take approx four to six weeks and is anticipated to begin in 2019.
