Document Description
Caltrans proposes to replace 3 9-ft diameter x 95' long multi-plate steel culverts in the same location with two 12' x 12' x 95' long precast reinforced concrete box culverts on SR 20 in Lake County. The RCB culverts would be buried 2 ft below finished grade to provide a natural bottom through the culvert to facilitate wildlife passage. Flared wingwalls would also be installed at the inlet and outlet of the RCB culverts to connect into the existing sacked concrete rip-rap. Cable hand railings would be placed on top of the RCB culverts and along the wingwalls.
