Document Description
BWC Terminals (formerly Contanda Terminals LLC) has developed a bulk liquid terminal at the Port of Stockton to receive, store, and transfer renewable diesel and vegetable oil. Products are received by rail and marine vessels, transferred to aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) for storage, and transferred to trucks for deliveries to the local market. The proposed project comprises modifications to the types of commodities handled at its bulk liquid terminal to include animal fat products in response to changing market conditions, rail infrastructure upgrades and modifications to increase operational efficiency without increasing throughput, and installation of steam generators to accommodate the new commodities.
