Document Description
The city of Blue Lake proposes the construction and operation of phas 1 of the Annie and Mary Trail; a Class 1, multi-use trail. The proposed trail will run for approx 2,620 lf along the former Arcata & Mad River Railroad Line from the intersection of Chartin Rd and South Railroad Ave to H St. The proposed trail cross-section will be approx 12 ft wide and consist of two elements including paved tread surface (approx 8 ft wide) and a gravel surface for equestrian access (approx 4 ft wide). The project will require the repair of an existing culvert, installation of a proposed culvert, and construction of a bridge over Powers Creek between G and H Streets. The project will also include appurtenances such as informational signage and pedestrian scale lighting.
