The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project includes constructing three new drought-resilient groundwater wells and appurtenances that will produce approximately 2,800 gallons per minute (GPM) of groundwater that will be stored and treated at the Applicant's existing, but unused, Border Avenue water treatment and storage reservoir and pump station. The Applicant is also proposing to construct a four-mile water transmission main along Van Ness Avenue within the disturbed Right-of-Way (ROW) to distribute fresh water into the Applicant's water system and a new storm drain.
