Class 1 - Existing Facilities: The proposed project involves abandoning one existing well in a highly-developed existing oil field. The drilling operations will result in only minor alterations to an already densely-developed oil field with negligible impacts to the existing conditions of the land. The Division has determined that the project is categorically exempt from CEQA under the "Class 1" (14 CCR 15301)
