Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2107-0455-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of Fish and Game Code to the California Department of Transportation. The project is limited to the improvement of pedestrian and bicycle connectivity between the Central Marin Ferry Connection pathway and Old Redwood Highway. The project is limited to improvements along the northbound off-ramp structure and its pathway approaches from the North and South (Exhibit B). The Proposed Improvements include removal of the existing 4 foot wide pedestrian pathway on the northbound off-ramp structure, construction of a new 12 foot Class I multi-use path structure on the existing off-ramp bridge bents east of the structure separated by railing, realignment of the northern and southern pathway approaches to the northbound off ramp structure, realignment of the existing stairs from the Class I multi-use path on the north side of Corte Madera Creek an reconfiguration of private parking at 2145 Old Redwood Highway which is located within a Caltrans air space lease.
